About

Soweto Full Day

Most popular tour for international  travellers!

Our most loved tour and 100% 5*-rated! An authentic, different and bespoke tour, designed to not only include the history of Soweto, but to experience life in the township as it is lived today. Eenblond TOURS attempts to break down the “us and them” mentality, and shares the places she has come to love, also in an undiscovered, less touristy area of Soweto. We use local guides for a varied and authentic experience – your tour fee will support at least 6 entrepreneurs. A lot of fun while educational at the same time.

Pretoria Walking Tour Half Day

Rediscover Pretoria’s CBD 165 years later!

One of our oldest cities and the capital of South Africa, Pretoria’s inner city became forgotten with the exodus of the middle class to the Eastern suburbs. It is however a vibrant, historical gem worth exploring. Our casual walking tour takes in some of the impressive historical buildings, looks at the unique inner city design of Pretoria, the street traders and some funky, new initiatives. You will fall in love again with this city – known as conservative and bureaucratic, home to the apartheid forces, today a colourful, vibey African city. We celebrate the tour with a beer or a cocktail with Pitori’s trendy crowd and also my favourite old school glam spot!

What to bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Sunscreen and hats
  • A bit of cash
  • Cameras
  • Snacks and water (also available en route)

Hartbeespoort Nature and Adventure

Hartbeespoort with its beautiful dam, lies an hour from Johannesburg and is a popular destination with the city weekend crowds. A good option instead of another day in the city, as this is more than just a safari experience, but rather a day spent in nature. The spectacular scenery from the top of the historic Magalies Mountain (a world heritage site), the photogenic dam wall, great food and beautiful nature will make this a day to remember.  As it is within the city limits, this is not a Big 5 destination, but offers unique experiences with wildlife.

** Eenblond TOURS does not support activities where wild animals are bred in captivity for the tourist trade, neither wild animal interactions. The elephants on our interaction are however rescue elephants, are allowed to roam free and eat from the bush, and do not perform for tourists. We will therefore not include the Lion Park or Elephant Sanctuary (not a sanctuary at all!)

Custom design your own tour with the following attractions:

  • Aerial Cable Car Ride up the Magalies – a must and included in your fee!
  • Zip lining over the African bush
  • Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre
  • Monkey Sanctuary
  • Boat Ride on the Harties Dam
  • Rescue Elephant Visit
  • Lesedi Cultural Village
  • Craft Beer Brewery visit
  • Lunch stop of your choice (for own account)
